The All About Me Project was designed as a culturally relevant introductory activity to be completed at the beginning of the school year. However, it may also be completed at other times throughout the school year.
The goal of the project is to facilitate a creative platform for students to share who they are in a safe space. In addition, the goal of the project is to assist educators with their ability to make intentional moves to embrace, understand, and respect student behaviors, beliefs, and cultures.
If students feel safe during the first few weeks of school, they will most likely perform better and have a stronger sense of respect for you as they progress throughout the school year.
