Included in this Powerpoint are 50 slides that cover stranger danger and stranger awareness scenarios and a list of safety principles that you can touch on for each slide. Each slide stands on its own and is meant to spark a discussion and teach rules about safety. Most of the slides have more than one individual so that a problem can be posed while another individual mulls over the options in a thought speech bubble. Graphics are bright and kid-friendly, making it easy to teach and reinforce safety rules. Characters are placed in a large variety of situations, aiding in generalizing safety rules. Content is geared toward elementary kids that will be independent or semi-independent using a buddy system, but could be used through middle and high school students for special ed, depending on the cognitive level. View from your computer if you are in a 1:1 therapy environment. Powerpoints can be viewed on some tablets with the appropriate app. Powerpoints can also be used in the classroom with projectors or smart boards. I also print out the slides, laminate them, three-hole punch, and store in a 3-ring binder.
Below is a list of the clipart creators that were used to create this Powerpoint. Each one has a current TPT store, and there is an active link for each one on the last slide of the Powerpoint.
