Use this chart to help elementary-level kids attempt to try new foods. The chart gives the child independence over choosing foods and categorizing them as "easy" "medium" or "hard". There is also a space for goals for next week. Use this for higher functioning kids who are ready to start expanding their diet and need a visual cue and organizer. This would also be a great way to reward trying "hard" foods. In addition, I found this to be a great conversation started in helping parents and other caregivers to understand what foods are "hard" for that child and begin a dialogue on why.
