Keeping track of students is a full-time job! From bathroom breaks and locker trips to the nurse’s office or music lessons I feel like someone is always leaving the room.
I use this sign out sheet in my classroom to keep track of all of that. It also has the added bonus of giving students a little practice telling time each time they leave and reenter the room. The colorful dots match the colors in my classroom. I also included a black-and-white dots page for easier copying and/or printing.
I three-hole punch the pages and keep it in a binder. That way I will be able to reference it if specific information is ever needed. (I am sure you have all been asked if anyone was out of the room at a certain time during the day or have had to discuss a specific student and his/her million trips out of the room.)
I also keep a pencil attached securely to the binder with a piece of colorful string. This makes it easy to take the binder to an assembly or specialist class.
I hope you find it useful! This product coordinates with my Stress-Free Book Checkout Sheet. Check it out in my TpT store!
