This 8 page packet walks intermediate students through the concept of stress pronouns, AKA disjunctive pronouns, AKA pronoms toniques. First, it identifies the pronouns, next, it identifies the SIX times you would use a stress pronoun, then there is a 20 sentence practice exercise where students are asked to ID the correct pronoun to go in sentences which use each of the six situations in context. Next, the packet explains when you must use à plus a STRESS PRONOUN instead of an object pronoun such as LUI/LEUR/ME, ETC. Students have a 10 sentence practice exercise where they have to ID whether they need to use a stress pronoun or an object pronoun. Finally there is a 3 page review of the object pronouns lui, leur, and y from my OBJECT PRONOUN CHEAT SHEET (also available on TPT) for students who have forgotten how to use them.
This packet simplifies a very difficult concept and breaks an abundant amount of information into manageable pieces.
