Are you an orchestra teacher looking for new ways to encourage your students to spend more time practicing. Are you required to show your administrator that you are assessing student progress as a part of your teacher evaluation? This product will help you with both of these things.
You will receive an excel spreadsheet containing a chart listing key pieces from the method book Strictly Strings Book 1. This chart is an editable file so that you can add student names or make any other changes you desire. Some of the pieces are highlighted different colors to coincide with the Orchestra Ninja program that is also included. This document prints perfectly on two pages so it can be added to a three ring binder or you can use the electronic copy on your device. I use this document to help me make decisions about pieces students have prepared and are ready to perform at concerts. I also use this document as evidence that I am tracking student progress. This document could also be blown up and printed poster size so that students can become more directly involved in tracking their own progress by adding X's to the poster as they complete a piece.
You will also receive instructions for implementing an orchestra ninja program. There is a page of teacher instructions and a page that explains the program for students. Orchestra ninja is a great way to motivate students to practice at home. Students can track their progress on the included chart.
