Strikes and Spares - A “How Many More to Make 10?” Game
What better way to practice the skill of finding how many more are needed to make 10 than bowling? I use a miniature bowling set. You can also borrow bowling pins from your P.E. department.
Included in the product are set up ideas, a scoresheet, and bowling "tickets" (to help manage who gets to go next). The tickets come in both color and black and white.
Students take turns bowling and completing the sum of 10 equation on their scoresheet.
Also included are 7 worksheets (with bowling themes) practicing the skill of determining how many more are needed to make 10.
