This product is perfect to make learners THINK about strip diagrams. It exposes the kiddos to more than just the standard "Part, Part, Whole" strip diagram. In each of these questions, learners will have to think outside of the box to break down each part of the strip diagram and give each part (or whole) meaning.
There are 4 questions that take it to the next level asking learners to apply their knowledge and CREATE a strip diagram.
When using this with my 3rd graders, it opened up the opportunity to have a RICH Math Discussion (my favorite thing to do during our Math Block!) about solving problems and making connections.
