This set is designed to allow students the opportunity
to build strip diagrams that they will write equations for
and solve. There is a set for 1 step problems and a set for
2 step problems. You will use the 1 inch color tiles for students
to build a visual model of their strip diagram.
If you don’t have access to these, just cut colored paper
or just have students draw, color and solve.
To extend this activity, have students write
problem situations that would math their equation.
