Strong and Stable Structure activities and centers for grade 3 Ontario science. This pack includes fun and hands-on activities!

4 centers all ready to use in your classroom.
1 requires access technology -computer or SMARTBoard
1st Center: Work Zone Word Sort: Definition matching game (included- instruction sheet for students, 14 words and definitions to print, laminate and cut for students to match). Complete with 2 student response sheets, one fill in the term glossary (with word box) and Label the terms on diagrams sheet.
2nd Center: Super Structure Stack Up: true/false cup stack game: 20 true and false questions are included and ready to print on paper or labels. Instructions including pictures. Student Response sheet provided.
3rd Center: Big Bridge Bonanza: use the internet to learn about types of bridges and draw a diagram and write key facts about each type. Then use online program to determine which bridge fits in which area (pbs program). Also provided, a list of additional websites to find key facts from.
4th Center: Structure Pull-Apart booklet- Students make an adorable 'pull-apart' book to show their knowledge of the topic. Two versions provided- one with question prompts, one with blank spaces. Multiple 'cover' choices provided as well.
BONUS! Free: Conference Checklist and Explanation/Ideas. Included free perfect to meet with small groups while others work on their centers.
Also included: Center Cards for pocket chart/Bin labels and teacher notes page!
