What lies below Earth's surface?
An interactive science notebooking activity to learn the structure of Earth! Students cut, glue and label Earth's layers their interactive science notebooks and complete an accompanying worksheet.
Included in this product:
- Structure of Earth worksheet.
- Earth's Layers interactive notebook activity.
- Structure of Earth worksheet answer key.
To save paper, I usually print a class copy of the worksheet and have students complete the ISN coloring/labeling activity on the left side and answer the worksheet questions on the right side after a lesson on the structure of Earth.
Students should label and color the layers first, glue them down into their notebooks, then cut out Earth along the dotted line. Put a piece of tape on the edge of Earth and place it directly over the top of the layers to see a cutout of what lies beneath the surface!
