Having a weekly lesson plan helps to outline the tasks and needs of the student but there goes the weekend. The work is done for you if you are teaching the Periodic Table, need a break, or additional ideas.
This product includes 5 daily lesson plans. The objective is to use the periodic table to determine the characteristics of an element. Each lesson includes the following components: Bell Ringer Activity, Guiding Question of the Week, Instructional Task, Introduction, Guided Practice, Independent Practice, and Closure. By the end of the week, cooperative groups of students will create element balls. The element balls are awesome, and should be displayed for open house.
Alert: I've included URLs for detailed info on creating element balls. Also, page numbers for vocabulary activity on Monday need to be adjusted for your text book.
