This is a graphic organizer designed to help students learn basic information about the three main parts of the federal judicial system. It is done on a PowerPoint slide so that, in addition to printing copies for your students, you can use a projector to display it on your whiteboard or smartboard. When I taught with this graphic organizer, I gave students a copy to fill in themselves and projected a copy onto my whiteboard. I called on students to come to the board and fill in different parts of the graphic organizer. I found doing it this way engages students more as they get excited about writing on the board, being in front of the class, showing what they know, etc.
