If your students would benefit from structured, guided notes for vocabulary, you'll love this worksheet. Easy to print off and copy front-to-back, you can pass these out for students to use these notes all year.
Each side of the worksheet has a space for the word, its origin, definitions/synonyms. The boxes are for the forms of the word (noun/ verb/ adjective/ adverb) so students learn to recognize and use various forms of the same word in their writing. Then, there is a spot for an original sentence and a picture to represent the word.
I personally use these for my Word Wednesdays for students who need extra guidance and are typically slow note takers (Click here to see the Word Wednesdays assignment
!) However, my other classes have also begun to request this note-taking page since it's so easy to use!
Also great for meeting student accommodations!
