I use this with my 4th graders during our book club unit of study. It is a great resource to use for all levels of book clubs. I have 5 groups of students all on different guided reading levels but they all use the same book club journal to record their thinking.
A RUBRIC is included on every page (they vary depending on the job) so its quick for teachers to grade and easy for students to see where they need to improve on specific jobs or where they did really well.
HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER:
I usually staple the pages together or using binding to make it more like a journal.
I usually have two sheets of each job just so students have enough in case their book is long enough for them to have some jobs twice.
I also include a calendar page so students can keep track of when they have what job due when. I just print the calendar off from a FREE TpT resource for the months I am doing the book clubs for.
**I am about to do this with my students so when one of my students completes one, I will put it up as an example of what it would look like after a student has completed their reading.
