Backpack checklist (small and large)
This resource is made to help any and all students, but as a special needs teacher, I have found it especially helpful for my students with ADHD.
I laminate these checklists and send one home with each student along with a skinny dry erase marker at the beginning of the year.
I encourage parents to use these tools to help their children with executive functioning at home. The kids organize their materials and thoughts using this simple checklist and cross each item off in the morning when they have it ready to go.
The checklists can be used for school, and there is a blank one to use for after school clubs or weekend trips.
