A basic A - Z mini book... folds to half the size of an A4 sheet of paper. It comes with instructions on how to assemble and a cover though you could have the student create their own. There are many ways to use this in your classroom and here are a few ideas how I have used it before.
1. The student picks a word for each letter. Then writes the word in the space provided and draws a picture to remember it.
2. The child can practice writing the letters in the space provided and then draw pictures of words they know that begin with that letter. Ex. Aa Aa Aa Aa then they can draw an apple, ax, airplane, army, alligator, etc.
3. It can be a topic themed book. For example, it could be used for feelings, animals, ABC’s about Me book, etc.
4. It can be a book that is created beforehand and added to each week. For example, new spelling words, books I’ve read this year, etc.
Great book for your students to continually add to during the term. Great for morning work or to reinforce that they understand what they have learned.
If you try this booklet, I'd love for you to rate it and give genuine feedback. Thank you!
