This product features cards with a couple of sentence stems for students to complete indication how they are feeling, reasons for their moods, and a plan to make the day go better. I have included three different variations of these cards. One has a cloud outline. I have copied these on different shades of paper from white to dark grey , so students can choose the shade that matches their mood. I used these as part of a bulletin board so we can track the overall mood of the class. I have also included a version with a rounded border and one that has a circle for students who prefer to draw a face instead of writing a word. I use Reflection Sheets to help students communicate how they are feeling and what they need. Students who struggle daily complete one of these as part of their morning routine regardless of how they are feeling. I also offer them to students who want me to know about something that is going on (positive or negative), but do not want to or are unable to tell me in conversation. For students who are not sure how they feel, I put up a poster of feeling words with pictures.
