This graph allows students to record their data on assignments or tests, then reflect and set a new goal for their next assignments or tests. The teacher can also use the same graph to display the class average for the same assignments and tests. The teacher can also set class goals and reward students when goal is met.
I did this in my classroom and every Friday when the work for the week was passed out, the students would record their data and set a new goal. It was also easy for them to see how they did compared to the class average displayed on our data board. I was able to set class goals and encourage students to set realistic goals they could meet. My students were then more engaged when it came to reflecting on data.
This meets indicators 2, 3, 13, 18 (depending on how much emphasis you put on the data sheet)
