I am going to have my students track their own data with their pre- and post- test data. They will record their scores (check out my first assessment in my store for Indiana College and Career Standard 3.M.4) and their rate of understanding. I will use these scores to group my math students for instruction, and then have them reevaluate their level of understanding halway through. If they feel they need extra support to gain understanding, they need to brainstorm with me ways they can practice the skill. Then, record post-test data as well. Celebrate growth! :)
