Use this resource to help your students track their data and set
goals to improve academically.
This is a great tool to teach students ownership of their education. They can easily see where they are at and brainstorm ways to get to where they want to be. Use the scale to help students compare how they feel during instruction to what their test scores are revealing.
My 4th graders keep these in a data binder in their desks and as a result, I have seen a huge change in their attitudes towards their grades. They take their time on their tests and focus better than they have all year, because now they have a personal reason to care about their progress.
> Reading fluency pages are differentiated based on PRF levels. So no matter how low your reader is, they can still see their growth and their charts will look similar to the other students' charts.
