Student feedback survey (bubble format)
Student feedback surveys are a great way to get feedback from your students about your strengths and weaknesses as a teacher in the classroom. How are students feeling overall about classroom management? Rigor? Homework? Do they like your class? Do they get enough help? Not only will you get honest answers about your teaching from your students, you will give them a voice in the classroom, which they will definitely appreciate. Students love feeling like their thoughts and opinions matter. And those thoughts and opinions will make you a better teacher.
The best way to administer this survey is to have a proctor come into your classroom, and allow the students to take the survey anonymously. There is nowhere on the sheet for them to write their name or anything else, so they will feel that they can be completely honest with their answers. It’s typically recommended that you teach for 7-8 weeks before giving out a survey like this.
