Once downloaded, you choose the pages you want to include in your student data notebooks. You can have students write about how they will meet their goals or simply circle the goal they will work on monthly.
At the end of the last school year my principal had asked me if my students had set any personal goals. I previously used data notebooks, but that was at my old school. I created this resource for students to track their own progress and set their own personal goals.
This resource includes goal setting for:
Reading Fluency (there are two different graphs, one for lower and one for higher fluency levels)
Fountas and Pinnell Level
I have created a blank graph and a blank writing goal pencil for students to write their own goals.
There is also a title page for students to decorate to make it their own.
I hope you find this resource a valuable tool in your classroom as students track their own progress and set their own individual goals.
