Individual motivation and accomplishment can be the focus of your bulletin board with this easy goal sheet!
Students decorate the top portion of the paper in their own style, as colorfully and creatively as possible. Once decorated, place three post it notes on the designated squares. On each post it, students write one personal goal for themselves. My high school students favor goals such as: stay on task, complete homework before the due date, or keep above a certain average.
Once students have written their goals on each Post It, collect the sheets. Underneath each Post-It, write a reward for your student! When they hang on the bulletin board, they serve as a reminder to the students to work towards their goals with a fun, surprise reward. Rewards could be specific to your classroom such as tickets for the prize jar or something broader like a homework pass.
If you use this goal sheet, please also check out my "Goal Sheet Completion" form that corresponds to this activity.
My high school students LOVE this activity and it makes the classroom bright and motivational! This goal sheet could work for any grade level or subject, and I hope it helps motivate your students!
