The purpose of this sheet is to allow students to reflect on their grades and self-identify strengths and areas of growth. The benefit to this is that a student who is given time to reflect on what they did well and what they need to work on feels more empowered moving forward to work towards academic success.
The teacher can provide this to students at the end of each grading period, in the middle of each grading period, and/or at the end of units. The reflection sheet below is made as a template in which the teacher can edit the document to fit the need of his or her classroom. Please feel free to edit, delete, and add as you see best fits the needs of your classroom!
