Student Interest Inventory / Survey

I designed this survey to give to my middle school students during the first week of school as a "get to know you" activity or for one of their first homework assignments, primarily so that I could learn about my students on an individual basis. I always encourage the students to be honest, because I am the only person that will read their responses and knowing their personal interests will help me make lessons in class more fun for them! I usually collect the inventory sheet and keep it in each student's personal file for my own reference throughout the year, but you could always give them back to students at the end of the year to let them see how their interests have changed!
