Easily integrate iPad® mobile digital devices into your back-to-school plans with this print and go, student learning survey Digital Scoot™ on the iPad using the free app Pic Collage™.

My Digital Scoot™ games offer a technology twist on the traditional Scoot game! Instead of a task card, leave an iPad on each desk with the app Pic Collage™ installed.

Students scan the included QR codes and set the survey question that pops up as the background on Pic Collage™. Next students scoot from iPad to iPad signing and dragging their name to their choice for each question. Or have students use “stickers” to share their choices so they don’t become influenced by their friends. Students save finished work to the camera roll for easy sharing and display. Great way to introduce technology at the beginning of the year!

Each iPad will display a different survey question – 30 learning profile type questions that will help students reflect about their learning preferences, strengths, and learning characteristics. Questions are available digitally as a scan-able QR for quick downloading. Don’t want to use QR codes? No problem, print out each question and students can take a picture of it. iPads not working and you want to save ink? A blackline version is also included for a traditional pencil and paper Scoot game!

The best part of playing Scoot digitally is the finished product! 30 survey responses that promote class discussion and that are easily shared across all digital mediums. I love to make a slideshow with our finished responses so we can see at-a-glance that all learners are different and have different strengths and needs to be successful.
