What are Student Learning Teams?
Student Learning Teams are a form of cooperative learning where a small group of students works together on an assignment to achieve a mutual goal. Each member of the team is responsible for learning the information as well as helping his or her teammates to learn. Cooperative Learning has a wide range of benefits including active student engagement, academic achievement, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, communication, and self-esteem.
