Product Description
This product is designed to be used independently following instruction on how to use the respite/break task box, and on respite/break expectations. Simply print the cards on cardstock, laminate and cut out, put on a binder ring, and put them in a task box with some notecards and pencils.

In my classroom, students come in and out frequently to take respites/breaks when they feel heightened. These cards help them to get right to work on monitoring their own emotions and feelings while I finish working with other students. The notecards they write on can be used later for data collection for IEPs! These cards are in one of my classroom's 16 task boxes so that students always know exactly where to get them when they come in.
