These fill-in-the blank notes are designed to provide students with the same information on Plant Parts but also follow the Cornell methodology in that students must write summaries or generate Q/A. They were designed as a homework due BEFORE we talk about them in class. Students can use a variety of resources to fill in the blanks, however, they may also use the designed matching Powerpoint which fills in the blanks for them. It is a way to get students to buy into doing homework because the answers are posted to them. Have been using 10+ years and students love it. Can be adapted to fit any biology text/material.
