I was on some kind of committee years ago that needed to argue to continue extracurricular activities at the school. I did all the research and helped put this PowerPoint together so the athletic director could look like he knew what he was talking about. We left out the parts about athletes being more prone to binge drinking and my own personal opinion that retaining teachers is more important than sports. I think it was used in conjunction with getting a new stadium with turf.
