I designed this placemat to use with some of the younger, super energetic students in speech therapy groups. I have one for each student (laminated or page protectors), and they get to pick a whiteboard marker color. Then, we briefly review safe class rules, speech goals, and points to earn in order to earn a reward. There is a line on the bottom of this page that we reflect on together, after the bulk of our session but before the reward. This promotes student reflection, and if they are able, I like to have them write a sentence on the line. Then, we count points and look to see if we met the reward goal.
I find this is very useful if students are having difficulty regulating their behaviors in a group. Hope this helps others, and let me know what you think!
