The end of the school year is quickly approaching and if your students are similar to mine, they are getting extra anxious for summer break! I created this engaging student project to help keep my students focused now that all of the state testing is completed and our ELAR curriculum is coming to an end.
This project is a creative writing assignment. Students are designing their own school using a "School Handbook" template. I also attached my cover page and rubric that I gave my students to use. I wanted to keep this project simple and fun, but still structured for my students. This product is all on a Word Document so it is easy to adjust and use for you and your students.
This product includes the following:
1. Rubric/Intro Page
2. Title Page for Project/Table of Contents
3. School Mission Statement and Beliefs
6. Student Activities and Clubs
7. Food Services
8. Student Requirements
9. School Calendar
10. Sketch of Our Campus
**Please note that in my rubric I state that my students are creating a poster. The poster is not included in this product. I simply provided my students a piece of anchor chart paper to design and color their school.
