Provide your students with their own personal Reading Log so they can keep track of the books they read throughout the year. There's a place for them to record the title of each book, author, reading level, AR quiz score, the date each book was finished. The last column gives them an opportunity to evaluate whether the book was 'easy, just right, or challenging'.
When my students use the Reading Log, they are much more aware of how many books they've read and the progress towards meeting their Accelerated Reading goals. They love sharing the list with their parents at conference, too!
Student Goal Folders:
Create individual Student Goal Folders for your students to keep track of their own progress during the year. The Reading Log is just one of six charts available in the individual Student Goal Folder program. Check out the other five charts on TPT. Taylor your Student Goal Folders to match your classroom goals and watch your students meet the standards!
