In the world of special education, it is inevitable that due to a variety of individualized schedules, students are coming and going. Some may need to go to speech therapy, another is coming from occupational therapy, yet another…(you know the drill!)
To avoid interrupting the flow of your classroom, it is ideal that the students either know when they should come and go or they know where to access the schedule!
This is a 16 page download that includes a chart for a.m and p.m, Monday-Friday, with the specialist for speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and "other" in a column on the left. The time is in one hour increments across the top for each day.
Directions: Print and laminate the schedule sheets. They can be displayed in a few different ways:
FLIP CHART or in a displayed binder for student reference. Student name/Time of Services labels can be attached with Velcro. (The names written on with a vis-à-vis). Or skip the labels and just fill the information on with a vis-à-vis.
They can be set up as a LARGE POSTER, laminated and the student name/time of service simply written on with an Expo or written on sticky notes.
Setting up your “Student Specialists Schedule” takes a little time. Once it’s set up, it will last year after year, keeping you and your students organized!
