****UPDATED**** (1/10/16) I added a set of pages for upper grade students that do not include the top and middle dash line that primary kiddos need.
Tired of answering students who constantly ask “how do you spell…?”. I know I definitely was! Although it makes me so excited to see my kiddos become independent writers, I noticed they were becoming very reliant on me for spelling words. I came up with our ‘student spelling dictionaries” so that my kiddos had another option when trying to spell a word. We use these on a daily basis when students are writing in journals, doing ‘write the room’ activities, and after practicing spelling and sight words. By the end of the year, each page will be full of important and daily used words!
*26 different pages for students to fill in with sight words, spelling words, and any other words that are needed and introduced throughout the school year! Each page has a label with the letter, along with a picture, that starts with the letter. Each dictionary page has 30 spots that can be filled in throughout the school year.
*A cover page that can be copied on cardstock or construction paper for durability. I copy the pages back to back and bind them together with the front cover and back cover made of a bright colored construction paper.
*Please follow me on TPT to find many different activities that can be used in your great classrooms
*all graphics, fonts, and borders are credited on the last page of the pack.
