Product Description
I created this Student Survey as an Ice Breaker activity to begin a new semester. It is not your typical survey, but more creative as it asks students to explore Who I am?, Where am I going?, How will I get there?, and Why is this important? Students will need to think about what kind of animal and color they would be, or fruit there family would be.

I use the survey as a silent independent activity and then turn the survey into a human barometer. If you post the 6 images around the room students can find similarities with their peers and practice small group collaboration skills. An extension activity is to publish their surveys in paragraph form as a letter of introduction. This is a great way to begin working with a new group of students.
