PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Teach your students to teach themselves by having them complete this homonym project!

Students draw a set of homonyms or frequently misused words from a hat. They then put together a short lesson to teach their peers those homonyms!

This activity allows for creativity in your classroom. Some students come up with great lesson ideas that you can use year after year! They also remember their homonyms and use them correctly in their writing.

This document includes:
**A Homonym Task Sheet, which explains the assignment
**A Homonym Lesson Rubric
**A list of homonyms that you can cut up so students can choose (you should cater this list to suit your individual classroom!)
**A final Homonym Assessment based on the homonym list I provide
**A Homonym Lesson sign-up sheet example
