Looking for a fun way to get your kids involved in your history unit? Why not turn them into the teachers?
This project is focused on Rome but you can easily adapt it to any unit. I have done it with multiple areas of study and my students loved it.
When having students present, I split them into two groups: the teachers and the students. I have teaching groups all teaching at the same time to small groups of students. Then the "students" rotate to a new "teaching" group and learn a new topic. After students rotate to all the groups, the teachers and the students swap.
No two groups can have the same topic.
