This template is used to help students write their own GCF/LCM word problem based on real world situations. Students are provided with two scenarios they can either use both or one, based on assignment requirements. The word bank is provided to help students figure out which key words will be helpful in writing the problem. Then students will pick their numbers they want to use. Students will then write out their problem and solve it. This activity could be great for high order thinking activities. Students can share out problems with classmates and then have peers add a second part to the problem.
