Do your students have trouble finishing their work or even knowing what work to do?
Do your parents sometimes feel out of the loop?
How can students, parents, and teachers get on the same page?
Try this "Weekly Agenda" that will help to bridge the classwork communication gap between school and home.
1. Students write down their work for each subject.
2. After completing a task, they simply check off their accomplishment.
3. Finally, they have their parents sign on a daily basis.
4. You, as the teacher, may choose to provide an incentive for consistent use of the agenda by stamping, giving a sticker, or another creative expression to reward faithfulness.
Say "goodbye" to students not knowing what homework they have. Say "hello" to organized students developing a "teacher checklist" productive mindset.
