This document contains several activities for students who are wrapping up their personal narrative. The first page lists questions students can talk about in writing conferences with a particular focus on setting and rising action.
Activity two is an activity that asks students to color-code their personal narrative draft by looking for elements of IADD (Inner thinking, Action, Dialogue, Details) and use a highlighter or computer to color-code those parts of their story.
Third activity is a peer-revision activity. Students swap personal narratives (hard copy or google docs) and provide three phases of feedback to their peers.
