A picture of my job chart builtin board has been included

I have a picture for each job and some jobs have more than one picture because more than one student does that job. I chose different pictures for the same job to give the students a better description of the job. Once I changed over to these pictures for jobs with 2 and half months of school completed ( we stated first of Aug. changed mid Oct. ) The students needed no explanation of job. I teach Prek or 4 year olds.

The pictures are big enough be be seen from across the room. I have my classroom jobs chart on a bulletin board next to the big white board. I Velcro-ed the student name and picture ( I teach Pre K ) under each job, so at the end of day I can easily move everyone to a new job daily. I included the text boxes I put students name and picture in. I typed there names in front size 60 in comic sans . This makes adding to chart, and cutting out names so easy. I also Velcro-ed the jobs on so I can change the order they are in if needed.

The pictures I used are of things my students are use to. Example - the schedule keeper has a die cut car because they move a die cut car along the daily schedule placed a the bottom of the white board. We also use the sands timers for a warning when breakfast and centers are almost over. We have 3 clean up crew and lunch helpers because we lunch in our classroom. The playground helper either gets the balls or the chalk depending on what playground we are going to. I added Play-Doh patrol , and marker patrol because the lids are always being left off. This year we have a plant to water so gardener was added. I will only use 20 jobs.

This document was made in word 2007. The margins are set to narrow. I hope this helps if it looks off once you download it.
