Summary: In this activity students become the teacher. Small groups research one of the body’s systems and teach the rest of the class about the system with a presentation and a study guide. Groups find out if they achieved their objective of teaching the class by providing their classmates with a short quiz after they have presented.
Standard: MS-LS1-3 Use argument supported by evidence for how the body is a system of interacting subsystems composed of groups of cells.
Students will be able to identify the organs, tissues and cells present in each system.
Students will be able to describe the basic structure of the major organs in each system.
