This is very good for the students to reflect on their grades/behavior. I use it before progress reports go home every nine weeks. This way the students are aware of what will go home when it comes to progress reports.
It could be good documentation of teacher/student interaction to meet students’ needs. Could help teachers with Performance Standard 2 in IPEGS.
It doesn’t go home, it is confidential between your students and you, so they feel good about it and are honest when reflecting.
It really helps kids!
