Overview: Students Teaching Students (STS) is an activity that is designed to give you the chance to assume the role of the “teacher” and actually “teach” a real lesson to the class.
How it works: Students will be assigned to groups. Each group will be assigned a specific section from chapter 30 of the textbook to teach the class. Your group will be responsible for creating a “lesson” that integrates things such as a warm-up, a PowerPoint, helpful videos, and a wrap-up activity. Each group member will be assigned a specific job/task of the lesson (explained below) as well as be expected to follow through on their respective task/job as indicated on the workload agreement (also explained below).
