Study Skills: 50 Strategies for Success -- used by top tutoring companies around the country!
Research shows that practicing study skills helps students develop the necessary processes for metacognition—the self-awareness of how one thinks and how one learns. Students who regularly use metacognitive techniques are more likely to select and apply appropriate strategies for learning.

There are two levels of Study Skills: 50 Strategies for Success:
Level 1 (80 pages)
Grades 3 – 5
Also appropriate for students in upper grades who need more skill-building while working at a gentler pace.
Level 2 (80 pages)
Grades 6 – 8
Also appropriate for students in higher grades who need more skill-building. Level II builds off of level one, providing greater challenge while extending concepts.
The activities in this program help students acquire and practice effective, timesaving strategies that will last a lifetime. Lessons are self-guided and designed for students to work at their own pace. Students will find practical uses for these strategies every day — in the classroom, at home, and eventually in the working world.
The program also helps students determine their own unique learning style. Such self-discovery enables students to personalize their learning experiences and make effective use of their study time.
