This is the 11th lesson in my study skills unit –Activating Schema & Prior Knowledge? This lesson is in PPT format and has lesson notes at the bottom of each slide. Direct Instruction of study skills teaches students to take charge of their learning and gives them the strategies to use to succeed academically.
Students must habituate good study skills. To do this, they need consistent skills support at school and at home.
