This form will help students employ metacognitive skills to address homework needs/concerns by listing, prioritizing, goal setting, reflecting, following through, and assessing their learning behaviors. It will help shape the learning behaviors that successful students employ automatically.
Students should complete the Entrance portion at the start of a study period and complete the Exit portion at the end of the study period. (My students do this by pulling up the online class list, which shows overall class grades and assignments for each class. They use this information to complete the Entrance ticket.
