Stump the Teacher Dictionary Game

This is a fun, engaging game that helps with dictionary skills and promotes friendly competition between students and teacher! I have students work in small teams and give them each a dictionary and a copy of this sheet. They have 10 minutes to find as many words and definitions as they can. They pick words they think you won't know. If you DO know them, you state the meaning and YOU get the point. If you DON'T know them, the team gets a point. You can use the points for whatever works in your classroom. :-)
